Holy crap it's March already. Even worse, it's like halfway through March. Jesus. I'm glad I got this started early.
1 -- I am in touch with an awesome photography duo, I Luv Photo . This was not my original choice... I had emailed a different photographer, who I went to high school with, and is amazingly talented and takes beautiful pictures, and who I was really excited to work with. But, 3+ (probably closer to 6, now. ) weeks later, and no response. I found I Luv Photo through OffBeat Bride, I loved their style, pricing was reasonable, and I had a response from them in less than 3 hours!!! Super, super impressive, already. Lesson -- If you want business, be very responsive.
2 -- I have contact info for a DJ, so I will be emailing him shortly. Unknown to me, Matt also got a quote from a DJ company. They were a little expensive, but not as bad as we thought they would be... but we'll see.
3 -- Matt is meeting with the person who we want as our officiant this week, so we will either have one set up, or need to come up with something.
I have colors sooorrrrrta picked out, and bought some small things to start experimenting with, to come up with decs. I also had my first wedding-related dream.... too early! I still have 9 months left!
